MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION

All transcription is performed by personnel with a minimum of 2 years' medical transcription experience in a hospital or clinical setting. We have transcriptionists with experience in all medical specialties as well as psychological and psychiatric transcription.

All SIM transcriptionists are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement before becoming employed.

Turnaround times are contractually negotiated. Regular transcription is typically within 24-48 hours and stats are typically processed within 2 hours.

Quality Control is managed through random report evaluation to ensure accurate high quality transcription. We staff customer service representatives to regularly communicate with our clients to assure complete satisfaction.

SIM maintains backup copies of transcription on its system for a minimum of 6 months--indefinitely for clients who have Charts! On the Web!
